Senior year

                                         Senior Year

Maddy Daveport Dendy

is a student at McCallum Highschool and is a senior, i asked "whats next for you" southwestern university "why?" being in a plaace like McCallum , I wouldnt want to go somewhere thats not diverse smaller school because it will be easier for me to form lasting relationships. It seemed much like McCallum only heard positive things about it campus is beautiful study board program in spanish hoping to cheer there really diverse . What are you most proud of? Summer cheer leadering camp UCA camp All American pin it forward award was there with the McCallum cheer leading UCA staff members there are 250 girls and they pick one based on effort spirt ALSO NHS was a big a accomplishment for me i think of myself as more of an athletic person academics are something a struggle so that was an honor for me What will you remember most about McCallum?
How diverse and welcoming it is "when i was freshman i was talking to several friends who went to anderson and they all kept telling me how they didnt really like it they wished they would have or could have come to McCallum i still talk to those friends and they still feel that way that they are so glad that their high school experience  is over i feel lucky  to have been able to come here i will always remember it as a cool place an accepting place made up of so many different and interesting types of people "Any regrets ?" i wouldnt change a thing my time at McCallum has been so enjoyable in every way i'm taking away great memories and friendships when did you know that you belonged at McCallum? The Moment i stepped through those blue doors i just knew that it felt right i remember seeing everyone just walking around and doing their own thing. Redeermer Lutheran off anderson (lazy and burrell) i had come from a small christian school i loved my school but i knew that when i went highschool that i needed something bigger and exciting and more diverse different people different faces over whelming awesome and refreshing everyone i met was so nice and then i meet Mr.G and that was awesome i could tell right away that he was cool guy and i could tell that he was really accepting i could tell that I had found the place where i belong how have you changed since you were freshman definitely more social and outgoing going to the games being a cheerleader student council NHS i have made more friends made me more outgoing and social most challenging?
handling balancing grades while also trying to cheer thursday games waking up having to go to school the next day is always the hardest taco shack is always the hardest because it is the first one student government having to plan prom just attended melting almost the flowers at the prom. favorite class/song i was the only one with my personality type i was able to be creative and love love love music "One more thing"? Last April shattered dreams when 36 kids that i did not know at least i did not know very well i was not good friends with and by the time it was over i had formed real permanet lasting friendships. The best part was the lock in drinking and driving experience i was the only one that was cool to hear other people , They shared very real experiences no the kind of things you hear other people on an everyday basis i will learn from all your mistakes and all your accomplishments and focus and as i become a senior i will accomplish my goals and don't make some bad mistakes.
